Invest in your own Health!
I have recently been going through my own health and wellness journey in many aspects of my life. While you don’t see my full life story, and I don’t see yours, there’s one thing I can PROMISE, that it is worth investing in your own health!
This isn’t just an investment in your physique. It’s an investment into your longevity!! I want to be able to play and be active with my own kids and my grandkids one day! I want to wake up every morning and be able to do whatever I want and not be stopped by my physical body or my health in general.
What do I mean by invest in your own health?? A few good examples are:
paying for a gym membership or weights to use at home. This would include paying for some type of weight program to use.
buy the healthy foods at the store! Good protein sources, fruits, vegetables. I know it’s expensive, but eating out costs so much more now especially if it’s for more than two people. You will save in the long run by increasing your grocery bill now. Use food to fuel your body!!
Increase your daily number of steps! Most people “think” they get around 10,000 steps a day.. I promise it takes some thought to hit your steps everyday! Go for an intentional walk each day, especially if you have a desk job.
BUY the supplements!! I know they are expensive, but buy the protein powder to help increase your daily protein intake. Another great supplement to buy is creatine! It’s the most researched supplement on the market. Creatine not only helps you recover faster and add strength, it also helps with brain cognition, and research shows it could be an aide to help prevent Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
